Prehistoric Scenes

A couple of years ago, I decided that I was going to revisit the Prehistoric Scenes series of model kits. I had built some of them as a kid. I went about collecting these kits mostly on eBay. Sometimes I was looking to get the whole kit and sometimes I just needed to get some missing parts. Along that journey I found that the prices for the kits were usually high and frequently exorbitant. It occurred to me that others such as myself might have the same experience. For some, the expense might be more than some would be willing to incur. I love these kits and would like others to have a chance to build them too.

To that end, I decided that I was going to start a business that catered to Prehistoric Scenes fans. The first phase of this endeavor will be to provide replacement parts; first cast in resin and later 3D printed. Beyond that, my hope is to produce reengineered replicas that would look to reduce the number of seam lines build would have to contend with and fix other design issues. These would be 3D printed. Later, my hope is to produce a new line of Prehistoric Scenes kits. That is the hope. We’ll see what happens.
